Finally the awaited moment has come.  I am so excited to share you our brand new 2012 packages. First of all I would like to thank you all lovely people out there.  Alhamdulillah for all  the support, encouragement and trust given to us.  Littlestori Photography would not be here today without the mercy from Allah SWT for He blessed us to have all the kind and encouraging supports from our lovely friends, especially our beloved clients. We thank you so much.  This year, we have made some improvement to our previous sessions and we're also coming out with new sessions. I'm excited speaking of this! Considering each session is so special I decided to release one session at a time.  Today let us begin with:

OUR LITTLE STORY 

A family portraiture designed especially to preserve childhood memories in a beautiful outdoor setting.  We first introduced this session back in 2010, when Littlestori has just started.  Along the way, this has been the favourite among our clients.  It is our favourite too, simply because this session represents Littlestori Photography.  The images captured from this session speak the ideal of what Littlestori hopes and strives to treasure - precious little stories of childhood captured beautifully.  This year we decided to make Our Little Story session extra special, by making some changes with lots of add-on values to it.  So here goes:

Outdoor Location
Greeting 2012, we decided to focus this session to only for outdoor setting.  Many people came to us because of that dreamy, beautiful family moments taken against the natural, lush green surrounding (or by the beach side).  Those lovely memories were usually taken in a big, wide open field.  We realize what make that moments so special is the fact that 'family love' and  'natural surrounding' go so well together they make such beautiful memories.  The kind of memories that not only precious to be treasured as family albums and keepsake, but they look absolutely beautiful as fine art prints decorated on your family wall. So we figured to continue making that dreamy yet staying true to the essence of real life family bonding and connections kind of photographs, the ingredients have to be family love + natural surrounding!     


Another reason why we decided to make it in the wide open space is because of the children. The spacious surrounding give kids the freedom to run around and have fun with their family.  We have been known among our clients and friends for taking candid pictures of family moments.  Because we love contemporary approach so much we always encourage parents to have fun with their kids during our family session.  And big, open space under the sun (natural light) give us the freedom to do so.

We have a number of our favourite outdoor locations and this year our dream is to look for new locations.  We also would love suggestions from our dear clients if you know of any interesting outdoor locations :)

For those who love having their family pictures at the comfort of your home, do not worry.  I love indoor too and I treasure those sweet family memories taken at home sweet home.  I am a natural light photographer.  Considering there are some limitations and challenges in taking pictures indoor, we are now working hard to come out with a new session that would enable us to capture family moments taken indoor in the best possible way.

Session Info Pack
Every photographer has their own unique style and their pictures represent this.  At Littlestory Photography we love to combine the classic pose for the camera approach, with the contemporary styles.  In addition to that our work is a collaboration with the parents. We work very closely - especially with mom - to preserve those precious moments of childhood.  To guide our clients with what to expect during session and with some tips for planning the session, we provide you with a session info pack prior to your session.  From then on we can start planning and dreaming about your family session ;)

Creative Edits
Another criteria that defines a photographer is her post-processing work or in other words picture editing. Creative editing is a way for the photographer to express her feelings and convey her interpretations to the picture she took. I love editing so much that I love it the same way I love taking pictures.  I do believe these two must always work together.  It's like the picture is incomplete without the editing work. But also the post-processing work would not mean so much if the picture is taken poorly.  In the old days photographers process their pictures in the darkroom, and now most photographers process their pictures in the digital room. Different ways but for the same output.  The output from first taking and then processing the pictures define the unique identity and style of each photographer.

Previous years we do not include our digital creative edits as part of the session package, except as complimentary.  What we did last years was only basic editing to digital soft copies. Our clients usually order the creative edits in prints or they would order the digital creative edits as a la carte.  The happy news is this year we decided to include the creative edits in soft copies as part of the package.  Yes, this I must say the biggest add-on value to our packages this year ;)

Consultation
Another great news, not only we include our creative edits in our packages this year but also this time we give consultation to you prior to editing work, and even consult before the session begins!  We know that some of you love the happy, bright colors. And some love that retro look or vintage style.  While some of you would love something in between.  And not to forget the classic black and white fans.  So we figured it would be great if we first consult you on this.  We want your family photographs to be something extra special to you.  Not only the photographs preserve those fleeting family moments, but the images speak of your family style and personality. And of course with the flair of Littlestori touch ;)


Thank You Gift
It means a lot to us when you give your trust and let us preserve your family precious memories.  We thank you so much and we thought a little gift would be lovely. The 8R + frame idea came about when I had this plan to print a picture of my girls.  The picture would be great on family side table and the thought that I can always change my mind and put the picture at any corner of the house - kitchen perhaps -  made me think that an 8R photograph that is nicely framed is the right choice for a family fine art piece.

Littlestori Privilege
Long have I been wanting to create this group dedicated especially to our beloved clients.  Since we were established about two years ago - and earlier when I did this on a freelance basis - they were the ones who had the confidence and their trust in us.  For the fact that the name was quite new and we still have a lot, and a lot, and  a lot to improve.....  Yet they were there for us even though we still have so, so many rooms to improve.  Alhamdulillah, I'm truly blessed to have them who believe in what I do.  I wanted to create the group so my beloved clients will get our sessions at discounted price, and they will always be the first to know of our promos and exciting news.  I'm thinking of a lot of exciting things to give and share with my beloved clients.  There are a lot of hopes and dreams to share with you.  So the wonderful news is all our new clients will also be invited to join Littlestori Privilege on your next session :)
